The new network has been built by FullFibre’s Fibre Heroes and will generate faster, more dependable internet connections, with 1Gbps download speeds, that will enable the family business to future-proof its operations for generations to come.
The Fibre Heroes service is being supplied by Oswestry-based Ocean Telecom, one of the UK’s leading independent business telecoms specialists.
Tim at Hughes Bros comments, “This is a really exciting step for our family business, which has grown so much over the past sixty years. Starting in a barn with no mains electric, we are now a thriving dealership with over 25 employees and a future-proof full fibre broadband connection. We really have come a long way.
“Fibre Heroes’ network means we can now access more reliable internet with faster connection speeds, making our business more efficient”.
Matt Smith, Head of Public Procurement and Engagement at Fibre Heroes, also comments, “We are delighted to onboard Hughes Bros as our first live customer. It’s fantastic to have such a well-known local business be the first to join our network in Oswestry.
