Network builder FullFibre has invested over £1.7million to bring a ultrafast internet to the Cotswold village of Broadway, with the first premises now live.
This significant upgrade to the current network means that residents in Broadway will have access to fibre optic ultrafast internet for the first time. Full fibre is a more dependable internet service and allows up to 1Gbps download speeds that are 20 times faster than the national average.
FullFibre’s team of Fibre Heroes has now made the first homes and businesses in the town live, with services available through multiple internet providers. This follows the latest news that Fibre Heroes have now built to more than 20,000 premises in Worcestershire, as well as the recent announcement that the towns of Malvern and Badsey are live.
CSO of Fibre Heroes, James Warner, comments, “It is really excellent to be rolling out our full fibre network in Broadway, and providing the town with an ultrafast internet connection. The internet is an important part of daily life, and it has a real impact on how communities operate and the way we live our lives. We can’t wait to serve the local residents through our internet service partners”.
Local businesses and residents can access these new services through any broadband provider active in the area, including BeFibre, IDNet, Gigabit Networks, Link Broadband, Merula, OctaPlus, Redline and Squirrel.
