FullFibre, a leading provider of high-speed broadband connectivity across the UK and the foundation to what Fibre Heroes can offer to customers, today announced the official launch of its new 2.3Gb symmetric speed service on the XGS PON section of its network. This groundbreaking service is now available to the majority of FullFibre’s existing 380,000+ premises footprint, with plans to enhance additional GPON areas soon.
This new offering extends FullFibre’s already robust suite of services, which includes 1Gb FTTP business services and leased lines provided in partnership with ISPs who sell directly and through Wholesale Aggregators. The service covers 170 towns across nine counties in the UK, solidifying FullFibre’s position as a leader in providing cutting-edge broadband solutions.
The 2.3Gb symmetric speed provides a significant upgrade over legacy infrastructure typically available in these regions. The FullFibre FTTP (Fibre to the Premises) network offers a compelling alternative to traditional FTTC (Fibre to the Cabinet) and leased line services. Businesses and consumers alike will benefit from the enhanced speed and reliability, whether using it as a primary connection or to complement existing services for improved resiliency.

FullFibre is on track to reach 400,000 premises Ready For Service (RFS) in the second half of this year.
